New Students
Thank you for choosing Next Step Dance Kodiak! We are dedicated to offering high-quality dance instruction to all ages and providing students with a safe, accepting, and motivating environment to learn and grow. We would love to have you and your dancer join our studio family, whether you are with us for a short-session class or taking classes year-round! Here is how you can join our studio family:
Check out our classes online. We offer dance classes in various styles for ages 2 through adults, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, musical theatre, acrodance, tumbling, and aerial.
Book a free trial class. After viewing our classes, the next step is to book a free trial class! With the variety of classes we offer at Next Step Dance Kodiak, we are confident we can find the right fit for your dancer. If you are not sure what class to take, please reach out! No question is too big or too small!
Schedule a studio tour. This step is optional, but we recommend it for families who are new to Kodiak or families that have dancers (or even parents!) who are feeling nervous about class. Touring the studio before your trial class is a great way to feel familiar with the space and meet some of the amazing staff who are always ready to help.
Register for classes. After your trial class, we will check in with you to see how it went. Did it go well? Great! We can go ahead and enroll your dancer for you. Not too sure yet? No problem! Sometimes it takes another class to be sure, or even a different style completely. We can help with that too!
